Practical considerations in the design of quantitative targeted methods in proteomics

thermo-new-logo

Quantitative proteomics by mass spectrometry is often performed in a targeted manner. Triple quadrupole mass spectrometers facilitate targeted proteomics due to their high sensitivity for tandem mass spectrometry. In this webinar, we will discuss best practices and techniques for implementation of targeted mass spectrometry for quantitative proteomics.

What will you learn?

  • Key characteristics of quantitative mass spectrometry proteomic assays
  • Selection of peptides that are stable, precise, and provide linear response in the sample matrix
  • Use of system suitability and quality control guidelines for quantitative mass spectrometry methods
  • Implementation of Skyline to streamline proteomic method development

Who should attend?

  • Beginner to intermediate scientist in the field of quantitative proteomics
  • Researchers with a background in small molecule quantification transitioning to quantitative proteomics
  • Researchers looking to implement Skyline in targeted method development
