The details of what EBF is looking for…

Before you start…good to know:

  • EBF will include feedback on internal EBF discussion, (upcoming) recommendations, or publications in the sessions marked with *.
  • Not all of the below suggested themes will make it to a stand-alone session. There is obvious cross-pollination for some themes. Depending on the
submitted abstracts, some themes could be combined into 1 session. To qualify as a stand-alone session, we need at least 3 presentations
    from different organizations.
  • For most of the sessions, presenting case studies is the best way to engage with the delegates.
  • Below themes may qualify for plenary, breakout sessions or a workshop embedded in the symposium.
  • EBF plans a session in collaboration with the European Immunogenicity Platform (EIP). The theme is being identified and is not part of this call for abstracts.

With the deadline for abstract submission sitting at the end of summer, don’t be late…

ICH M10 Workshop

Hyatt Regency Tower (Barcelona), 14 November 2023

After careful consideration, EBF again plans for a non-sponsored pre-symposium workshop on ICH M10. In contrast to last year, when they tried to prepare for a harmonized interpretation and implementation of the recently published guideline, the set-up of this meeting will be different: sharing experiences and discussing/removing ambiguities.

CALL for ABSTRACTS

We invite for abstracts on areas where you see ambiguities or where you struggle to implement the ICH M10 guideline in your day-to-day work.

To submit your abstract, use this form and submit it before 10 September 2023.

More info on the meeting can be found here

Challenging the Current Paradigm for ADA Testing workshop

The 2023 Autumn Focus workshop focuses on the industry’s challenge of the current paradigm for ADA testing and includes insights and recommendations on lean approaches for first clinical studies (based on risk) and experience /case studies related to the diversity of biotherapeutics portfolios (i.e. drug tolerance, multidomain therapeutics…)

In good tradition to connect the theme of our meetings to commemorate an important anniversary of a feat that made a small dent in our universe and which at the same time can inspire us, we invite you to travel with us back in time to Le Mans in 1923. Although you wonder how we can get inspired by motorsport, there are many analogies between the early years of endurance racing and (regulated) bioanalysis today: both build on a cocktail of the progress of science, cutting-edge technology put to the test of performance and endurance, teamwork and diligent communication, and adhering to rules and regulations to win the race. So, it didn’t take us long to choose the theme for 2023: Science Winning the Race

Taking into consideration your suggestions from a recent Call for Themes, we hope to get your contribution on a broad array of topics that we believe are all important to you, (y)our community, and (y)our stakeholders.
