PerkinElmer (MA, USA) have announced a new platform and software named LC 300TM platform and SimplicityChromTM software, incorporating advanced high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) techniques, with intuitive instrument control and data analysis.
The new LC 300 system aims to enhance productivity for labs in multiple industries by streamlining testing, accelerating throughput and supporting user-friendly operation, to meet regulatory and quality requirements.

The LC 300TM platform is designed to deliver ultraprecise gradient flows and low levels of dispersion to deliver results quickly and accurately for clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and cannabis arenas. Key results are displayed on built-in column oven and a high-visibility, colour LCD screen. These features allow the user to view the results without having to log into chromatography data system (CDS) software. Third-party driver support and multiple detector options are features for commercially available CDS.
After conducting extensive interface and user experience research, further software named SimplicityChromTM CDS was designed by PerkinElmer, to accompany the LC 300TM system. SimplicityChromTM CDS aims to streamline result analysis and productivity by offering customizable and highly intuitive workflows. To help save time, effort and investment the software provides the tools necessary to ensure 21 CFR part 11 compliance.
With the new LC 300TM system and accompanying applications by PerkinElmer’s, SOPs, consumables and OneSource® Laboratory Services, customers can quickly adapt their methods and achieve high uptimes as they meet compliance pressures. The system has also been engineered for rapid installation.
