Prostate cancer: a new genetic test to identify those at risk


A new study conducted by scientists at The Institute of Cancer Research (London, UK), University of Cambridge (Cambridge, UK) and the University of Southern California (CA, USA) has identified 23 new genetic variants associated with an increased risk of developing inherited prostate cancer. The results from the study conducted on almost 90,000 men across the world can be used to explain a third of the inherited origin.
