It’s back to school time and with events such as AAPS and EBF just around the corner, the team at Bioanalysis Zone is starting to prepare for a particularly busy November! OCTOBER

15–18 October: CPSA USA 2018
21st Annual Symposium on Clinical & Pharmaceutical Solutions through Analysis
CPSA returns to the US with the 21st Annual Symposium. Featuring symposia with industry opinion leaders, colloquia on regulatory issues, roundtables and short courses, CPSA encourages open discussion and the promotion of the analytical format in an interactive and educational environment.

31 October – 3 November: SERMACS 2018
The 70th Southeastern Regional Meeting of American Chemical Society
The Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society occurs annually in the Autumn in Augusta and includes presentations from established speakers, symposia, education programs and a graduate school fair.  NOVEMBER

4–7 November: AAPS PharmSci 360
American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientist: advancing pharmaceutical sciences, careers and community
The annual AAPS PharmSci 360 combines the ‘energy of a large’ conference, with the ‘intimacy of a small niche gathering’. Divided into five tracks which are sub-divided further into chemical and biomolecule areas, there are plenty of opportunities for open discussion and learning.

 6–9 November: TIDES Europe
Europe’s #1 forum for oligo and peptide leaders to build successful partnerships and accelerate products from early discovery through late stage development and commercialisation
This November, Amsterdam is hosting the Europe chapter of TIDES. With many opportunities to engage with presentations and networking, the event focuses on the hot topics in oligonucleotide and peptide research.

12–16 November: Annual PEGS, Europe
10th Annual Protein and Antibody Engineering Summit, Europe
PEGS Europe claims to be the largest European event covering all aspects of protein and antibody engineering. Including presentations, problem-solving breakout discussions, poster sessions and networking opportunities, PEGS Europe is looking at its biggest year yet to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

21–23 November: EBF
EBF 11th Open Symposium: Raise the Anchor – Set Sail for Science
With many opportunities for open discussion, EBF aims to contribute to the development of an open mind in bioanalysis. The full agenda and many more details are now available on the website.

11 December: London Biological Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group
In association with the British Mass Spectrometry Society and Royal Society of Chemistry
Whilst there currently is no specific information available for this meeting, the London Biological Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group website is advertising Tuesday 11 December as the date for the final meeting of 2018. Keep an eye on the website for more details!
