Xiaonan Tang is Senior Director, Bioanalytical Services at Frontage Laboratories, Exton (PA, USA). Xiaonan received his PhD in physical chemistry from the University of California, Davis (CA, USA). After 2 years of Postdoc at the University of Chicago (IL, USA), Xiaonan joined Frontage Laboratories in 2008.

Xiaonan is responsible for managing the planning, execution and quality of projects in the bioanalytical LC–MS team, his expertise lies in developing the operation processes and procedures to ensure workplace efficiency, data integrity and safety, and regulatory compliance. He shares the ownership of many data management applications used in the bioanalytical team, including the ELN, the auto report software, and the project management system, etc., he works with CSV/QA to ensure the software are properly validated and are in compliance with regulations.
