Professor Xu gained his PhD in Pharmaceutical Analysis from CPU (Nanjing, China) in 2008. Between 2008 and 2012, he worked as a Research Fellow in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (Singapore). In January 2012, he was recruited as Jiangsu specially-appointed Professor by Jiangsu Provincial Government and served as a Professor in the School of Pharmaceutical Science at CPU. He has co-authored more than 90 peer-reviewed articles. His interests are the development of LC–MS and GC–MS methodologies for drug metabolism and metabolomics. Professor Xu also serves on the editorial advisory boards of Bioanalysis, Chinese Medical Journal and other journals.
