Tech Note: ultrasensitive bioanalytical quantification with minimal method development time

INTRODUCTION

In this Tech Note, the utility of the highly sensitive SCIEX 7500 System for the analysis of monomethyl auristatin E, a highly cytotoxic compound that requires very low limits of detection, in rat plasma is demonstrated. As new, less conventional chemical classes for therapeutics continue to be explored, the bioanalytical laboratory must keep up in order to support early-stage in vivo work and meeting sensitivity requirements for compounds at very low levels of detection. Development of appropriate methods can be time-consuming. In this Tech Note, a system that will enable bioanalytical groups to generate the required data with high sensitivity is introduced.
