New antibody test for SARS-CoV-2

A new antibody test has been developed by the University of Texas in Austin (TX, USA) for SARS-CoV-2. The new test is more accurate and can handle a higher number of donor samples at lower overall cost compared to the standard tests currently in use. The test can be used to measure how well vaccines stimulate an immune response and can be used to identify the best donors for convalescent plasma therapy.
