“…although bioanalysis may be understated to some, its importance to science and medicine is critical.”
Bioanalysis is a novel journal devoted to issues of analytical detection that our readers will find progressively more informative and enjoyable with each subsequent issue. The name of our journal underscores the importance of this science. Many scientific endeavors are dependent upon accurate quantification of drugs and endogenous substances; for example, pharmacokinetics, toxicokinetics, bioequivalence and exposure–response (pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics) are biomedical drug development pursuits that cannot be accomplished without an accurate means of quantifying the moieties that scientists seek to characterize.
