Stuart Best (Xceleron, UK) spoke to Bioanalysis Zone in February 2011. Could you tell Bioanalysis Zone a little about your career to date and how you ended up in your current role? I graduated in pharmacy and once my pre-registration year was completed, I commenced my PhD with Professor John Midgley and Dr David Watson at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (UK). My PhD involved developing bioanalytical approaches to permit the quantitation of serotonin and related indolealkylamines in various biological matrices.
