Research Spotlight: Biospectroscopy at the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre


The Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre (MIB) at The University of Manchester (UK), is a large research facility located in central Manchester. The research undertaken in the MIB is said to address a number of grand challenges, including industrial biotechnology, energy and biofuels, and biomedical healthcare. These are realized via four main research themes: biomolecular mechanism and catalysis; synthetic and chemical biology; systems biology; and enabling technologies.
