A Note from Neil Spooner and Tim Sangster – 25th Reid International Bioanalytical Forum

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the 25th Reid International Bioanalytical Forum will be held on 4-7 September 2023 at the Cambridge Belfry (Cambourne, UK). Following on from the wonderful success of the delayed 24th Forum in June 2022, we are getting the event back on track to the biennial pattern from before the pandemic.

As the longest established event focussing on bioanalysis, the Reid Forum has a reputation for providing an inclusive and congenial atmosphere for discussions on the latest hot topics from the world of bioanalysis. We actively encourage early career researchers to present their work and have a Bursary program to help provide them support. We also enthusiastically welcome participants from the broad bioanalytical community, bringing a richness, creativity and opportunities for cross-fertilization of ideas, rarely found at other events.

At this stage we are actively looking for people interested in presenting at the 2023 meeting and encourage people to submit short abstracts for consideration:

Our sessions for the 2023 event will be based on the following themes;

  • Bioanalysis of the future
  • Regulatory bioanalysis
  • Bioanalysis beyond pharma
  • Bioanalysis beyond LC-MS
  • How I learned from things that did not go to plan
  • Open session

We will also be offering a separate half day training course “A Working Guide to Immunogenicity” on Monday 4th September 2023. In this course we will discuss; what is immunogenicity, the implication for bioanalysis and drug development for both clinical and non-clinical programs and how to develop and validate the required assays. The course leaders are John Cook (Charles River Laboratories) and Veerle Snoeck (UCB).

Registration for attendance at the Reid Forum, the training course, exhibitions and sponsorship is also available now, with a discount for early registration:
