Short course announcement: a working guide to immunogenicity

The 25th International Reid Bioanalytical Forum will start on Monday 4 September with a short course aimed at giving an overview and understanding of immunogenicity in drug development.

The course will begin with an introduction to immunological responses and the impact and context of these on drug development, focusing on the immunogenicity risk assessments, presented by Veerle Snoeck from UCB. The focus will then shift to cover the development of the assays as defined in the risk assessments highlighting assays to assess the presence of antidrug antibody responses, which will be led by Lysie Champion from Celerion.

We will then move to discuss the validation of these assays and their application to sample analysis to support drug development, focusing on the clinical phases, but also explaining the differences in the pre-clinical stages, with John Cook from Charles River Laboratories leading the training. Finally, we will present a number of case studies to help highlight the different challenges and potential solutions that are encountered in relation to immunogenicity in drug development.

The course is aimed at all bioanalytical scientists interested in immunogenicity and is aimed to enhance their understanding in this increasingly important scientific space. It will run from 12.30 pm until 5 pm on the 4 September 2023 at the Cambridge Belfry (Cambourne, UK).
