Partnership announced to develop ultra-fast test for COVID-19 antibodies

A collaboration between the University of Utah, ARUP Laboratories and Techcyte Inc. (all UT, USA) has been announced with the goal of developing NanoSpot.AI, a rapid and easy-to-administer COVID-19 antibody test. The test aims to detect SARS-CoV-2 viral antibodies in less than 5 minutes with an easy-to-use device. Using blood obtained through a finger prick, the NanoSpot.AI sends test results to individuals on their mobile devices.
