SCIEX open new Echo® MS Center of Excellence

A new Echo® MS Center of Excellence has been opened by SCIEX (MA, USA), a provider of life science analytical technologies. The hope is that the new center will continue to build on the culture of innovation as it hosts two automation solutions, which are coupled to the SCIEX Echo MS system. The technologies showcase customizable workflows for high-throughput screening, high-throughput ADME and synthetic biology studies.

The President of SCIEX, Joe Fox, commented:

“The Echo MS Center of Excellence is an example of our commitment to innovation at large. Innovation can come in the form of technology, as well as software, but the ultimate innovation is what we enable customers to do. If we can help shape the workflows that allow them to overcome their most pressing challenges, then we have achieved the ultimate innovation.”

The showroom is dynamic and interactive, enabling SCIEX to partner with clients to support comprehensive workflows and deliver upon unmet needs.

Fox concluded:

“At SCIEX, we are not iterative, we have always been aspirational. The workflows that the Echo MS system allows is a model of that.”

Jose Castro-Perez, Senior Director of Market Development and Lead for the Echo MS Center of Excellence, further explained:

“The Echo MS Center of Excellence will drive newer and innovative workflows in high-throughput screening to answer questions that other technologies can’t. The selectivity of mass spectrometry allows for a wider range of applicability in pharma, biopharma, biomedical research and beyond. With this in mind, we will use this technology to solve new customer challenges, enhance productivity and increase cost savings, which can be passed to drug discovery programs, chemical synthesis, synthetic biology and more.”
